Why we make them

Leo came home. Our gratitude stayed.

Leo spent seven weeks in the NICU before we finally brought him home. During those weeks, his nurses and care team looked after our little lion with extraordinary skill, patience, and love -- and they cared for our whole family, too.

We first made personalized keychains as a small way to thank the nurses and staff who supported us. Now we're continuing the tradition for the wider NICU community, including patients and their parents or caregivers. Once a month, we'll return with Leo to deliver a new batch in person.

Frequently asked questions

Who can order a keychain?

NICU nurses, staff, patients, and parents or caregivers at participating hospitals are welcome to submit an individual request.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Keychains are a gift from our family. Donations are never required to place an order.

When will mine arrive?

We print requests in monthly batches and coordinate deliveries with each hospital. Timing can vary based on volume and hospital access.

Can I order for my whole unit or family?

To keep details accurate and printing manageable, please submit one form for each first-name keychain.

Why do you ask for first names only?

To protect privacy, the form does not collect last names, room numbers, diagnoses, or medical details. Please enter only the first name that should appear on the keychain.

Is this an official hospital program?

No. This is a family-led gratitude project and is not operated by or formally affiliated with any hospital unless specifically stated.
